Return - Fighters

Fighters are deployed first at any altitude . Roll for distance of the flight from the bomber entry edge:

1, 2	Within first 20 hexes
3, 4, 5	From 20 to 30 hexes away
6, 7, 8	From 30 to 40 hexes away
9, 10	From 40 to 50 hexes away

 Note that some of the American planes have been damaged in previous engagements. These may have been diverted to Turkey. The following are the American victory conditions:

Each plane diverted to Turkey +10 points
Each plane that returns to Africa +25 points
Each plane lost to the enemy - 75 points

If the US has a positive point value after the battle they win. If a negative, they lose.
