10. Destruction of planes and batteries

Planes never disappear. When a plane is "destroyed" it will continue in play until it crashes into the ground or some structure. When a plane crashes into the ground the model is removed and a "crash" marker is put in its place.

Bombers are never destroyed by hit points alone. Once all hit points have been taken all remaining hits are considered critical hits. If a critical hit indicates more hits, this result is considered a miss.

Fighters are destroyed by hit point loss. On the turn following a fighter's loss of all of its hit points it will veer and dive one hex per turn. It will continue this - veer and dive - each turn until it crashes.

When ground batteries are destroyed from hits they are removed from the table.
